This stack was suggested by HyperReporter, by Alexander Laird, which appeared in Macintosh Hands On Annual III in 1989, and (one presumes) before that in Macintosh Hands On magazine (whatever that may be). That stack, however, preceded HyperCard 2.0, and was made useless by the advent of the latter, since it could not report on properties that were new. The present stack, on the other hand, works only with HyperCard 2.0. In any case, the upshot is that if I don't tell you that the original concept is ©1989 by MindCraft™, I may be in some sort of legal danger. So, there, I've told you.
The stack itself is such a heavy rewrite of the original that I can't believe much about it that is copy-right-able is left. The tabular format in which the information is presented when you press the Objects button is certainly directly based on the published stack; but the particular information presented has been updated to apply to HyperCard 2.0; the style of the scripting for that button has been considerably altered; the scripting for the other buttons is entirely independent of the original.
In any case, it doesn't matter to me whose work this stack is considered to be. The original was a good idea, and it needed to be updated for HyperCard 2.0; this stack is the result. As far as I am concerned you are welcome to do anything you like with it, including modify it, distribute it, and so forth.
